oreo goodness.

So, what can you make with a box of Oreos (stripped of their cream centre), cream cheese and leftover chocolate bars?

Some awesome Oreo balls!

Ok, they’re actually called Oreo truffles! & they melt in your mouth like butter. Heh. Got hooked on them since JC days after Cassie introduced them to class.  Made this batch last week and I’m savouring the last few before the bro chows down everything.

Mine turned out a bit messy since I was rushing for school, but I think they’re suppose to look like these:

Ingredients:

  • 1  box of Oreo Cookies, cream removed.
  • 1 tub of cream cheese. I used Philadelphia’s.
  • 1 – 1 & 1/2 bar of milk chocolate or 1 packet of chocolate chips, melted.
  •
    Directions:

  • Crush or blend cookies to super fine crumbs. Place crumbs into a medium-sized bowl.
  • Add soften cream cheese.
  • Mix until well blended.
  • Roll cookie mixture into balls, about 1-inch in diameter, and place them on paper cups.
  • Melt chocolate bar/chips.
  • Drizzle melted chocolate on the Oreo balls.  Instead of drizzling, you can dip them into the melted chocolate.
  • Refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  • Serve and enjoy. (:

You have to try making these! It’s pretty easy and there’s no baking required!
    Nomnomnom! (:
